Travel Info

Location

The skatepark is located in Oberesslingen and can be reached conveniently by public transport or car. Parking options are available nearby for those driving. We recommend checking local transit schedules in advance.

From Stuttgart Hbf:
Just hop on the S1 towards Kirchheim (Teck) and get off at Oberesslingen — easy ride, around 20 minutes from Stuttgart Central Station. From there, it’s a short walk to the park.

From Stuttgart Airport:
Take the S2 or S3 to Stuttgart Hbf, switch to the S1 towards Kirchheim (Teck), and get off at Oberesslingen. Travel time is usually around 45–50 minutes, depending on connections.

Hostels, Hotels & Guesthouses

If you’re travelling from further away and need a place to stay, we recommend checking out Airbnb, booking.com , or hotels around Esslingen / Oberesslingen — there are plenty of options depending on your budget and crew size.

A super convenient option is the niu Timber Hotel, located right next to the Lidl in Oberesslingen and basically right across from the skatepark — probably the easiest spot if you want to roll straight from breakfast into the session.

Getting to the skatepark from the niu Timber:
Head up the path next to Lidl towards the bridge. Once you’re at the top, cross the street and just keep going straight. After a short walk, you’ll see a set of stairs on your left — take those down and you’ll arrive at Adenauer Skatepark.

Airport Information

The closest and easiest airport to reach the event is Stuttgart Airport (STR), located around 15 km from Oberesslingen.

If you’re flying internationally or looking for cheaper flights, here are some nearby airport options:

Karlsruhe / Baden-Baden Airport (FKB) — approx. 110 km away

Memmingen Airport (FMM) — approx. 145 km away (often used by low-cost airlines)

Frankfurt Airport (FRA) — approx. 200 km away (major international hub with direct train connections)

Munich Airport (MUC) — approx. 230 km away

We definitely recommend checking flights to Stuttgart Airport first, as it’s by far the easiest and fastest option to get to the skatepark. If you’re landing elsewhere, Germany’s train system makes it (sometimes) pretty easy to get to the area.
